The informations you will find in this section refers to Myba Charter Show 2008.

Agents with paid-up access to MYBAnet
All Agents with paid-up access to MYBAnet are invited to register for the MYBA Charter Show in Genoa 2008.
Other agents
Other Agents may register provided they have been working within a yacht brokerage company for a minimum of one year as a charter broker; written references will also be required from three agents with whom the applying agent has booked a charter within the past year of a yacht of 20m and above. Other Agents may also be asked to provide official documentation demonstrating that they are an established charter brokerage company; such documentation may include Company Statutes, Incorporation documents, Commercial Registration with the Chamber of Commerce, fiscal documents, etc.
Other Agents must submit the completed application form, the required references and any other documentation, as requested, before the deadline of 18:00 GMT March 15, 2008 otherwise their application will not be accepted.
Important notice
Every agent pre-registered before the deadline of March 15, 2008 will be charged a fee of Euro 150* .
Any agents registering after the deadline will not appear in the Charter Catalogue. Additionally, they will be charged the late registration fee of Euro 250*.
Deadline
All agents must be pre-registered by the deadline of March 15, 2008
Refund
After an Agent has been confirmed, the registration fee is non-refundable.
Registration transfer
Up until 18:00 GMT March 15, 2008 Agent registration is transferable within the same company, thereafter it is not.
Ticket to the Show Party
Tickets to the SHOW PARTY are limited. Applications received after the registration deadline cannot be guaranteed a ticket.
Daily Guest passes
Guests may be brought into the Show on payment of EURO 200 which will not be refunded. Payment of Guest Passes will be accepted either in cash or by credit card (only VISA accepted). They will be allocated a 1-day Guest’s badge and must be accompanied by the host company AT ALL TIMES. Unaccompanied guests will be asked to leave. Guest Passes are not transferable, i.e.: payment is mandatory for each and every single guest, even if the same host company has more than one guest visiting the show on the same day.
Registration fees (including Show Party ticket)
The registration fee for each Agent who applies before the deadline 18:00 GMT March 15, 2008 is EURO 150 (*Note: 20% VAT on this fee is mandatory for all companies based in Italy or in non-EU countries). Agents registering after this date will pay a fee of EURO 250 (*plus 20%VAT if applicable).
Payment
This year the payment will go to an Italian company and invoicing will follow Italian vat regulations. Payment should be by wire transfer (please see below) Please pay attention to the new instructions indicated below:
Note name of Agent/Company on transfer in order to receive credit for Payment. Please include the cost of the wire transfer fee.
Confirmation
Confirmation of attendance will be sent ONLY after the form and payment (plus all references and documents, as applicable) have been received & approved.

REGISTRATION/GENERAL INFORMATION
Stands description
Stands location
Stands are located on the quay, directly behind the yachts in one line. The reception tent will form the entrance to the entire Show and there should be excellent traffic flow.
Stands price
Stands are offered at EURO 2.750, plus 20% VAT. The price includes 4 NAMED entry passes to the Show and 2 Show Party tickets per stand. Rotation of passes is NOT permitted.
Break-down deposit
NEW REQUIREMENT: a 1000 EURO break-down deposit must be paid with each stand registration.
It will be refunded immediately at the end of the Show, if the stand has not been dismantled before 18h00 on Friday May 9 (please provide precise bank details for the wire transfer refund).
Refund
The Exhibitor fee is non-refundable.
Deadline
Exhibitors will not be confirmed until the form & full payment have been received, not later than 18:00 GMT March 15, 2008. Please give your full invoice details, together with EU VAT number (if applicable), otherwise your application will not be considered complete.
Payment
This year the payment will go to an Italian company and invoicing will follow Italian vat regulations. Payment should be by wire transfer (please see below) Please pay attention to the new instructions indicated below:
20% VAT will automatically be applied to all companies based in Italy or non-EU countries. Note the reference Exhibitor/Company Name on the wire transfer in order to receive the appropriate credit for payment. Please include the cost of the wire transfer fee
Technical assistance to Exhibitors
If an exhibitor needs additional equipment (stand furniture, telephone, fax, electrical equipment, a special set-up) please fill in the appropriate form on this website and return it fully completed to the address indicated on the forms no later than March 15 2008. The Exhibitor will receive a cost estimate directly from the supplier.
Stand Set Up /Breakdown and Show timetable
Stands are available for set up from 9:30 to 18:00 on Sunday May 4 and must be fully set up by 18:00 on the same day. Stands must not be dismantled before Friday May 9 at 18:00. A EURO 1000 deposit will by paid with each stand registration and will be immediately refunded by bank transfer at the Show’s end on condition that the stand was not be dismantled before 18:00 on Friday May 9, official stands’ breakdown time.
Pre-registration at the desk is required on the same day, Sunday May 4 between 9:30 and 17:00. Exhibition area and Viewing of the yachts will be open from 9:30 to 18:00 from Monday to Friday; yacht Viewing will be interrupted however according to the Seminars’ schedule and daily from 12:30 to 14:00 for brokers’ onboard lunches and from 17:00 to 18:00 for captains’ visits to the Exhibition area.

No shipments/deliveries will be accepted by Marina Molo Vecchio and Pesto offices.
Additional personnel
Registration fee includes passes for up to 4 employees. Additional passes will be charged at Euro 150, plus 20% VAT per person up to a maximum of two additional persons. Should more be required, the organisers request the exhibitors to take a double stand. Extra badges at Euro 150 plus 20% VAT will be unlimited for exhibitors with a double stand.
Rules & conditions for hosting a party at the stand (new requirement due to safety and insurance issues)
Parties at the stand will be allowed only on the condition they end by 19:30 every day of the Show; the Security service will be extended until 19:30 and Show entrances will remain closed to public. Cooking at the stand will be forbidden if it involves any kind of gas/electricity cooking systems.
Signboard
The signboard is included in the exhibition fee. Exhibitors must provide the Marina Molo Vecchio with the official wording for their signboard no later than the registration deadline. Be aware that abbreviations may be used, according to space limitations.
Rental Space for a Quayside Banner (banner not included)
A banner space (2m x1 m) may be purchased for 250 Euro, plus 20% VAT, to display your company name; banner to be attached along pier railing opposite your stand. For all the banner details please contact Francesca at Email: fran@mybashow.com before 18:00 GMT March 15, 2008
Outside Exhibition Area
Exhibition space outside the marquees can be reserved, subject to availability, for 50 Euros per m², minimum area 20m².
Catalogue
A brief description of the activity of the exhibiting company – maximum 2 lines - will be included in the catalogue free of charge provided it is received not later than18:00 GMT March 15, 2008. Please contact

Independent yacht Charter Managers
Unless you qualify as an Agent or Exhibitor, only one Charter Manager per yacht registered in the Show can be admitted. You will be required to pay a separate registration fee, full details of which will be emailed to you upon receiving this form. Furthermore, should you wish to have more than one Charter Manager assigned to a specific yacht you will be required to take an Exhibitor stand. N.B. Charter Managers will not be admitted aboard other CA's yachts.
References
Each application must be accompanied by three written references from Agents recognised by this Committee. These references are to be provided by Agents who have
personally inspected the yacht within the past 12 months. We welcome new yachts, which must be inspected by a representative approved by this Committee with any expenses incurred charged to the yacht. Please complete the Yacht Reference sheet herewith attached. The Committee's decision is final.
The Committee reserves the right to request references or an inspection by a Committee member (or a person appointed by the Committee), should it be deemed necessary on receiving the Yacht Application form.
Charter ready condition
Yachts attending MYBA Charter Show 2008 should be in charter ready condition as would be expected by a Charter Broker representative on the Show Committee. Furthermore, the yacht will be presented at the 2008 Charter Show in the required and same good-quality condition. It is understood that “charter-ready condition“ includes proper cosmetic and technical maintenance, a properly uniformed and qualified crew, with the yacht compliant to individual flag-state requirements and being contracted for charter within the terms of the current MYBA Charter Agreement, including being fully and properly insured for Charter.
Applications
Applications are only valid when completed in full and cleared funds have been received. These funds will be returned if the application is unsuccessful or if the application is withdrawn prior to confirmation of acceptance.

All yachts should register by 18:00 GMT March 1, 2008. Following receipt of application and payment, all yachts will be placed on a waiting list pending acceptance. Priority will be given to first time entries. Acceptance will be issued by the Committee at any time following application
In accepting these terms and conditions, the Central Agent representing the above mentioned yacht agrees that any Committee decisions made regarding the yacht’s acceptance to the 2008 Yacht Charter Show remain final and definitive.

Following receipt of application and payment all yachts will be placed on a waiting list pending acceptance. Priority will be given to first time entries. Acceptance will be issued by the Committee at any time following application.
Cancellation
Upon written acceptance of yacht’s entry the following cancellation policy will apply:
Cancellation up to and including the April 15 = Refund 50%
Cancellation after April 15 = NO REFUND
Yachts on the waiting list must withdraw their application should they be unable to attend. Unless, and until, such notice of withdrawal is received, the standard refund policy will apply upon acceptance which can occur at any time.
Confirmed yachts
Registration is not transferable from one yacht to another.
It is recommended that each yacht provide a proper brochure, a detailed crew profile and a complete list of sports, entertainment and communications equipment and facilities.
Pollution policy: Any yacht deemed to be causing a nuisance amongst other yachts and exhibitors will be asked to leave.
The Show reserves the right to exclude yachts whose exhaust causes a problem to others (the yacht fee is no refundable).
Shore power:
Yacht’s installation must comply with the local shore power
Yachts on waiting list
The Committee has applied the rule that priority will be given to yachts that have not attended the Show in the past years. This means that there will be a waiting list and the yachts on the waiting list will be used to replace cancelled yachts
according to the dock space available
.
It would be very helpful if the waitlisted yachts are ready and in Show Condition and we will then notify them at least 48 hours before the start of the Show if space becomes available. If we are regrettably unable to place your yacht in the Show the registration fee will be reimbursed
Yachts' arrival
Yachts should expect to arrive no later than May 2, 2008. Please advise well in advance (at least 2 weeks before) the marina office about your ETA.

Registration and general info
Entry is strictly by invitation and editorial passes will be required. There is no charge involved, however, it is necessary to pre-register in order to obtain the relevant passes that will entitle press to all Show events (only 2 Show Party tickets each per pre-registered Press Company).
Show party tickets
Each registered Press Company will receive a maximum of 2 tickets. Applications received after the registration deadline cannot be guaranteed a ticket.

IMPORTANT:
Editorial Press and Publications wishing to solicit advertising must register as Exhibitors with a stand in the Tent.
