2020 MYBA Charter Show FEES and TERMS & CONDITIONS – Central Agent

CENTRAL AGENTS with yachts attending the Show should register their yacht(s) before they register themselves and are invited to read below.

CENTRAL AGENTS wishing to attend the Show without a yacht will have to register as a Broker using the Broker’s form on this website.

WHICH CENTRAL AGENT CATEGORY DO YOU BELONG TO?

  • CA1 – CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    who are a MYBA individual Member OR the Corporate Representative of a MYBA member Company
  • CA2 – CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    employed by a MYBA member company
    but who are not MYBA individual Members or Corporate  Representatives
  • CA3 – CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    from YACHTFOLIO subscribing companies,
    which are not MYBA member companies
  • CA4 – CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    from companies that are NEITHER MYBA Members NOR YACHTFOLIO Subscribers

FOR ALL CATEGORIES:

Before registering, Central Agents should ensure that they are not listing on their website, nor any other website they trade under, yachts from other Central Agents without their authorisation. Should this be the case and the MYBA Charter Show Panel be  notified, even after their registration has been accepted and paid for, such Central Agents will be refused access to the Show.

Once a CENTRAL AGENT has been confirmed, the registration fee is non-refundable. Central Agent registration may be transferred free of charge from one Central Agent to another within the same company for the attending yacht (s).

Central Agents should only be representing the company under which they registered and that was accepted by the MYBA Charter Show Panel. It is not permitted to represent more than one company at the Show.

A business card will be required when picking up Show badges.

Central Agents are kindly requested to respect the Show Event schedule when organising events on their managed yachts. Parties onboard during the Show period shall be restricted to officially registered attendees of the MYBA Charter Show only.

It is recommended that no parties are held on yachts outside the Yacht Party Night.

Should Brokers’ lunches exceed lunchtime hours, yachts should be open at the usual time (14h30) to allow Brokers’ visits.

Central Agents accept that charter requests for any of the yachts exhibited at the Show must be made solely through the Yacht’s Central Agent. It is agreed by all parties that no solicitation for charter business will be carried out on any of the yachts participating at the Show. 

Central Agents are asked to ensure that Captains’ Guidelines are read and accepted by the captains of the yachts they are registering at the Show.

Please note:

  • Owners of attending yachts, their family and PAs will come in free of charge (Central Agents are asked to provide the names of the guests and pick up the badges for their guests).
  • The DAILY FEE for Operation Yacht Managers, Owners’ Representatives of attending yachts is EURO 350 + 21% VAT. The fee will be reduced to EURO 200 + 21% VAT if the attending yacht is represented by a MYBA Member company. (Central Agents of the corresponding yachts should be requesting the passes, accompany the Operation Yacht Managers and/or Owners’ Representatives and provide their names).
  • The DAILY FEE for Captains of non-attending yachts, that are listed on YACHTFOLIO, is EURO 150 + 21% VAT if the CA company is a MYBA Member and EURO 200 + 21% VAT if the CA company is a YACHTFOLIO Subscriber. Registration should be submitted by the corresponding Central Agent.

BADGES SHOULD BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE SHOW PREMISES.
RANDOM CHECKS WILL BE CARRIED OUT THROUGHOUT THE SHOW.

For CA1, CA2 and CA3 categories:

Central Agents from the above categories are automatically accepted in the Show, on the condition that their yacht is accepted. 

REGISTRATION FEES:

  • CA1 Category: CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    who are a MYBA individual Member OR the Corporate Representative of a MYBA Member Company

Euro 175 + 21% VAT for registrations completed by 21 February 2020 (inc. Show Cocktail invitation)
Euro 250 + 21% VAT from 22 February 2020 (inc. Show Cocktail Invitation)

Your MYBA ID will be required in the registration form in order to verify your status.

  • CA2 Category: CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    employed by a MYBA member company
    but who are not MYBA individual Members or Corporate Representatives

Eur 250 + 21% VAT for registrations completed by 21 February 2020 (incl. cocktail invitation)
EUR 350 + 21% VAT from 22 February 2020 (incl. cocktail invitation)

  • CA3 Category: CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    from YACHTFOLIO subscribing companies,
    which are not MYBA member companies

Euro 300 + 21% VAT for registrations completed by 21 February 2020
Euro 400 + 21% VAT from 22 February 2020

A ticket to the Show Cocktail can be purchased up to 3 April 2020.

Show Cocktail entrance fees:

Eur 80 + 21% VAT up to 9 March 2020
Eur 130 + 21% VAT from 10 March 2020

Any registrations, changes and/or modifications received after 6 March 20[MI2] 20 or still unpaid on this date will not appear in the list of attending CENTRAL AGENTS in the Show publications.

The Central Agent representing the registered yacht agrees that any MYBA Charter Show Panel decisions made regarding the yacht’s acceptance to the 2020 MYBA Charter Show remain final and definitive.

  • CA4 Category: CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
    from companies that are NEITHER MYBA Members NOR YACHTFOLIO Subscribers
  • CA4 Category Central Agents who have been accepted to the MYBA Charter Show 2019, will automatically be accepted, on the condition that their yacht is accepted.
  • CA4 Category Central Agents who haven’t been accepted to the MYBA Charter Show 2019, should comply with the following criteria:
    • Be a MYBA e-contract subscriber
    • Provide 3 references from Charter Brokers belonging to a YACHTFOLIO Subscribing company, with whom the Central Agent had a successful charter in the past 12 months
    • Company to have been trading for at least one year. (Proof to be uploaded on website).
    • Provide official documentation such as Company statutes showing the majority of the business activity is in yacht charter brokerage (To be uploaded on website)

REGISTRATION FEES:

CA4 Category: CENTRAL AGENTS OF ATTENDING YACHTS
from companies that are NEITHER MYBA Members NOR YACHTFOLIO Subscribers

EURO 500 + 21% VAT.

A ticket to the Show Cocktail can be purchased up to 3 April 2020.

Show Cocktail entrance fees:

Eur 80 + 21% VAT up to 9 March 2020
Eur 130 + 21% VAT from 10 March 2020 (subject to availability)

Any registrations, changes and/or modifications received after 6 March 2020 or still unpaid on this date will not appear in the list of attending CENTRAL AGENTS in the Show Publications.

The Central Agent representing the registered yacht agrees that any MYBA Charter Show Panel decisions made regarding the yacht’s acceptance to the 2020 MYBA Charter Show remain final and definitive.

THE MYBA CHARTER SHOW PANEL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVIEW ALL APPLICATIONS ACCORDING TO ITS PUBLISHED CRITERIA AND TO ACCEPT OR REJECT THEM AT ITS DISCRETION.
